These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Community Concierge Services, LLC ("CCS," "we," "us," or "our"), a North Carolina limited liability company with its principal office at 1920 Abbott Street, Suite 305, Charlotte, NC 28203. By using our website, submitting a job application, or opting in to receive SMS messages from us, you agree to these Terms.
CCS provides valet trash collection, recycling pickup, and related maintenance services to multi-family apartment communities across 14 states. We also operate a careers and recruiting program for hiring porters and other field positions, which includes an optional SMS communication program with applicants.
CCS operates a non-marketing, recruiting-related SMS messaging program (the "SMS Program") for follow-up communication with applicants who have submitted a job application for an open position with CCS. The SMS Program use cases include: (a) application acknowledgments confirming receipt of a submitted job application; (b) qualifying questions about the applicant's zip code and pickup truck availability; (c) brief role descriptions covering shift schedule and pay; (d) introductions between the applicant and the assigned regional hiring manager via a 3-way SMS conversation; and (e) up to two follow-up messages at 24-hour and 48-hour intervals if no reply is received. All SMS Program messages are transactional and informational, not promotional or marketing.
Message and data rates may apply. Standard message and data rates may apply to all messages sent and received through the SMS Program, as charged by your wireless carrier under your wireless plan. CCS does not charge any fee for the messages themselves. Message frequency varies; up to three (3) automated messages may be sent per applicant per week.
You may opt out of the SMS Program at any time. Reply STOP or Text STOP to any SMS message from CCS to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out, and no further automated messages will be sent from CCS unless you re-opt-in. For assistance, Reply HELP or Text HELP to any message, or call CCS support at (800) 742-9176.
You must be at least 18 years of age or older to opt in to the SMS Program or to enter into these Terms. By opting in, you represent that you are 18+ years of age and legally able to provide consent under U.S. law.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, Cricket, and any other participating wireless carrier, are not liable for delayed, dropped, or undelivered SMS messages. CCS makes no warranty regarding message delivery, arrival time, or carrier behavior. You acknowledge that messages may be affected by factors outside of CCS's control, including carrier outages, recipient device issues, and network congestion.
Your use of our website and the SMS Program is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, your controls, and our no-sharing commitment with respect to SMS opt-in information. Mobile opt-in information and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
You agree to use our website and SMS Program lawfully, to provide accurate contact information, and not to use any of our services to harass, defraud, or violate the rights of others.
Our website, SMS Program, and related services are provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CCS will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of our services or the SMS Program.
CCS may modify these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revisions. Continued use of our services or the SMS Program after modifications take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
